How To Make a Gravity Bong

How To Make a Gravity Bong

Gravity bongs are super simple to make, and are a super fun way to get stoney fast. I used to make these all the time back in college, but I always used aluminum foil to create the bowl piece, which is not safe (don’t smoke off of foil ya’ll!). So I thought of a way to create a gravity bong with a standard bowl piece.

Materials Needed:

  1. 2 liter or 1.5 liter bottle
  2. A pitcher (You could also use your sink or even your bathtub.)
  3. Scissors
  4. A sharp knife
  5. A standard 14mm bowl piece

Step 1: Remove cap from bottle and cut base of bottle off.

Step 2: Create a hole for the bowl in the cap using the knife. Start by slicing an X into the cap, then slice an X on top of that X to create a star.

Step 3: Force Bowl into the Cap

Step 4: Fill pitcher with water, add gravity bong. Screw on cap. Fill bowl.

Step 5: Light bowl while pulling upwards on the 2 liter bottle. Watch it fill with smoke, but do not pull bottle completely out of water.

Step 6: Push bottle down with mouth on top of bottle to fill lungs with smoke.

Step 7: Repeat

Hope you all enjoy this stoney little activity!
